Christmas Eve Special Message

Hi Girls,

We hope all of you are taking time today to prepare yourselves for Jesus' Birthday. We wanted to let you know that we'll be taking some time off to spend time with our families during the Chritsmas Season, therefore we'll be unable to do updates on the website until January 3th. We look forward to hearing back from you then!

May the blessings of the Christ Child be yours this Christmas and throughout the Ney Year

I think that the best way i can say what i feel is the true meaning of christmas, is that it is a celebration of God's love.  he loved us so much he sent his son to be born on earth and save us.  So, Christmas is celebrating God's love through Christ our saviours birth! Merry Christmas everyone!

Last weeks was hard, this one was easy-peasy! :D  The true meaning of Christmas is celebrating Jesus' birthday, like Gracie had said.  It is about generosity and willingness to serve.  It's about family and eating excessive amounts of chocolate and cookies.  Okay, scratch that last part, but I think you get the picture!  I love singing Christmas carols with my family...but that's another story...

The topic this week: What is Beauty?

Beauty is who you are. What you like like is not important. It the girl on the inside that's truely beautiful. Don't let anyone tell you you're not beautiful, beacuse it's not true. Beauty is the good choices and deeds you make. Beauty is how you react to people who do you wrong. Beauty is your soul that God gave you. No amount of make-up can change who you are. But on the inside, you're perfectly amazing beautiful. Your soul is more beautiful and precious than anything on this earth. :) God bless!

Beauty to me is being confident about yourself. It comes from the inside. Many famous and well-loved women were not necessarily beautiful women but, they had true inner beauty. I love all of you girls' answers!

This is kinda weird...my teacher just assigned me an essay. The topic is, "Are stars the most beautiful thing in creation?"

My answer is no. Stars are very beautiful physically, but that is not what true beauty is all about. My answer will be that humans are the most beautiful thing in creation, because we are created in God's image. When I write the essay I'll post it on here!

I know I'm not the best of judges, I'm just repeating what you girls teach. Beauty is what God made you, whatever God intended you to be, no matter what you look like, no matter what others say, beauty is the way God created you. Beauty is purity and love and all the things God wanted it to be. Beauty is not something to be gawked at, or to be taken for granted. Beauty is to be admired at a distance, admired by those who fear God.

Ooooh, this is tough...

Beauty is being who God wants you to be, I guess.  Because God is beauty, if we imitate him, we are beautiful.  Things can be beautiful too, because they are created (or inspired) by God.  Everything that is truly beautiful (like people, certain paintings, or certain poems) I believe is inspired by God. 

God is Beauty.  Beauty is God.

Also, Sorry if this is off topic, but I thought is was so cool to see an ATG ad in my choir's concert program.  It made me smile. :D  I was also thinking: music is so beautiful and enjoyable because all music is derived from heavenly music.  God gave us the gift of music, so that's why so many people love it.  Just something to chew on. :D
